Great guy, very small amount of homework. The only thing that counts are the midterm, final, and three papers all worth 20% of your grade. Exams are all multiple choice. The only thing that's irritating is that he'll write a word or two on the board, give several synonyms, underline the word(s), and then verbally explain. Overall easy class.

Very friendly and approachable if you're confused about anything. He's very impatient and will explain things multiple times to make sure everyone understands the material. Sometimes he's a little boring, but I'd take a class with him again, because his exams are pretty easy.

Professor Traylor cares about his students, but makes the class pretty boring by lecturing a lot. He does not give out many grades and the requirements for essays can be unclear and vague. It is often confusing to write down notes because he talks about so many different things in one class. Overall, he is a nice guy but an average teacher.

Easiest Professor I've had so far. He RARELY assigns written homework, and even when he does, it's just 1.5 pages double spaced. His readers are laughably short but frequent. The lectures can be pretty dry, but if you pay attention, you'll do fine. Also, he's not an unfunny guy.

4 exams including the final. All multiple choice. Rarely gives homework, but do it. All of it adds up to the amount of one exam. Chill if you come in a little late. Pay attention, and you'll pass easily. DO WELL ON THE EXAMS. It's practically your entire grade. Easy.

I thought this was going to be an easy intro class, but it was not, at all. He only has 4 tests grades plus homework assignments. He graded the homework based on a check, check +, check - scale, and it was harsher than expected. The lectures go by so slow because he just reads out of the book and writes a few words on the board.

Prof. Traylor is a nice guy. His tests are straight forward and he will help you out if you need it. The readings aren't too bad - pretty short and fairly clear. He gives pop quizzes, but they aren't hard even if you just skimmed the reading - more just for a participation grade. He graded the papers harded than I expected.

Hes really helpful. I was really nervous about taking philosophy && he made it painless. He always answered my questions when I had them. He doesnt give you a grade for participation, but if you participate he'll raise your grade. Plus he's funny, && very approachable. Honestly the best choice I couldve made for taking his class.

He is the man I hate everything about philosophy and he made it so painless going to class. Barely any reading and I had one 5 page paper as a final. He gives a lot of quizzes but they''re only worth 2 points and if you read you''re all set. Tests are easy too they are all multiple choice

Teaches very difficult classes but does his best to make the material as easy to understand as possible. Does a great job making the difficult material make sense and appear interesting. (Without his personality a lot of the material would be easy to get lost in due to boredom. ) He is very helpful! If you need help don't hesitate to approach him!!

He is an awesome and funny guy. Really appears to be passionate about philosophy and knows that not every student cares about philosophy so he tries to keep it interesting. Pop quizzes once in a while but the answer is generally easy (just pay attention). Tests are only multiple choice and are not meant to trick you.

From what I heard of Professor Traylor from a few years ago his course is 100% different now. I took his 100 course last semester. He's super nice and always helpful, though he does use a lot of big words unnecessarily. His tests are disgustingly easy and he's one of my favorite professors that I've had at Assumption so far. This guy is hilarious and pretty damn hot to boot. Take this class, it's pretty easy usually despite what people say.

I really enjoyed Professor Traylor's class. His class is easy enough if you just listen to him. He's also very approachable and I talked to outside of class all of the time. The paper at the end of the course is the only hard thing about the class and even then its easy since I'm a Bio major.

One of the coolest guys I have ever met. A tough grader but he makes philosophy interesting. He has a stutter when he talks so you need to pay attention. If you go see him for extra help and show genuine interest he will go to the moon and back for you. He loves philosophy and will explain it very well. Highly recommend him! He is awesome!

Took two of Professor Traylor's classes (The Problem of God and Ethics)and while they were very hard he was accommodating with offering extra help during and beyond office hours. He was tough but fair and if you put in the work, it was reflected in your grade. Prof. Traylor is also and extremely nice man and he is not too bad to look at.

He is nice, but talks about himself too much during class, and because of this you often stay over the time limit, and he is a bit unhelpful when emailing, there are about 15 quizzes (easy- do the reading), 2 hard exams, and one final essay,- but overall class was interesting, and he can get you excited about philosophy (he makes it interesting)

Homework is infrequent and very managable. The class can sometimes seem long but he has a good way of explaining how the ideas in class evolve. Mostly a lecture style class, pretty interesting.

he is monatone, and talks and talks. when you get to class you review everything from the class before so you zone out then in the last ten minutes of class when he teaches you something new you are still zoned out. it was the worst class of my life.

Comment:
He constantly repeats himself, not to better clarity, but in an attempt to make himself seem intellectual. He is arrogant and really doesn't have a firm grasp of the material. You learn very little from the class and move incredibly, incredibly slow.
