Probably one of my favorite professors at Naz. He really is brilliant. He talks a lot, and kind of wanders through topics, but miraculously winds up making perfect sense. It's an interesting way to teach, and is, in some ways, extremely well-suited to teaching language: the spontaneity in it forces you to really speak the language. He's awesome.

He talks a lot, can't keep on one subject for more than 10 seconds, assigns homework that is never collected, gives finals over material that appeared no where in the course, either in lectures or in the books. Completely insane.

Bill is an extremely learned man with an unconventional teaching dynamic. I started without knowing a scintilla of German and am now fluent. Though it takes a truly mercurial student to appreciate him, I give him my highest approval.
