Comment:
I loved Ed as a teacher. He's dorky when it comes to his presentation and jokes and keeps the class pretty entertaining. He takes whatever we had to read for hw and discusses it in the whole next class which I really like because then I can get a better understanding of the passage. He's very understanding and has a positive vibe to him overall.

Comment:
Worst English Professor I have ever had at Nazareth. This class is the English Senior Seminar and it is awful with him. Too much reading, too much work, horrible and long lectures, and just the same old thing class after class. Very boring and not a very nice professor when it comes down to actually having a class discussion. It's his way only.

Professor Wiltse is a fantastic teacher. The text and material he chose to cover was really interesting and kept the whole class attentive all semester. He's hilarious and makes the lectures fun and interesting. He's super helpful and always there to chat or help out on a paper. Great guy and I will definitely take another class with him.

This course has a lot of reading, but don't let that scare you away. Wiltse really cares for people and his students, always making you think. You will be a different person after this course, especially if you take the opportunity and do the jail project. It is definitely worth the work! Good luck :)

I'm a science major and I still loved Wiltse... extremely funny and very interested in his students. Very helpful when it comes to preparing for a presentation or writing an essay and is always willing to meet with his students for one-on-one advice! Very fair grader. Going to class is mandatory since class consists of groups discussions.

I love this class! Professor Wiltse is awesome and he's convincing me to become a English Literature major because I'm a lit junky. The class, Short Story and Film, is awesome for a Freshman Seminar. I thoroughly recommend this class and this professor! He's a really nice guy and always wants to b helpful with any problem a student might bring 2him

I took detective fiction with him and this guy is great! He comes across as a nerdy at first but loves talking about the reading and likes getting to know his students. He doesn't require that you participate in class, but its awkward if you don't do the reading. I would recommend that everyone do the jail project too, it was a good experience.

Ed Wiltse is the man! Nicest guy, so helpful, cares about what he is doing, and brings his A game to every class. Short Story was really interesting and I enjoyed the readings. He's really open to helping you outside of class on your papers. Great guy, great professor.

Absolutely horrible. I learned nothing in his class. He never taught us anything and then he graded us as if he assumed we knew the material. I payed money to be graded unfairly in a class I learned nothing in.

Sometimes Freshman Seminar with Dr. Wiltse seemed too much like another English class, but it was totally worth it. He was sooo enthusiastic about EVERYTHING. And he always was making sure that you were ok...the perfect trait for Freshman Seminar.

Wha said he doesn't give out A's? This man genuinely cares about your improvement as a writer as well as what you have to say. He is open to new opinions but knows his facts so it might feel like he is shooting you down. I will always remember his classes.
