Wow, probably one of the best professors in the entire school. While I loved history before taking the course Bill has really held my interest even while going over subjects I had already covered. He really understands what he is talking about and is able to present it in a way that anyone can easily understand - though sometimes his subject drifts

He is an entertaining and intelligent professor. In his best lectures he really brings the subject to life. However, in his worst lectures he disintegrates into tangents. I appreciate his humor and his patience but sometimes I wish he would stay on topic. He is undeniably charasmatic and entertaining.
