Bill is a very intelligent professor. He goes through all material in great detail and makes even tough literature easy to understand. I absolutely loved this class. Creative writing is another great class. I would take a class with Bill every chance I get.

I took a 114 summer class with him and he was fantastic. It seemed like a lot because you read one book a week but he basically goes through each chapter and explains everything! He's hilarious and very helpful. I highly recommend anyone to take a class with him. I learned a lot!!

It was seven years ago now that I took his class, but he is my favorite English prof ever! (and English was my major). Makes the material interesting and fun, I never wanted to miss a class.

Bill is an excellent prof but he marks unfairly hard. Although he makes his class fun it is impossible to get a mark above 85. I would not recommend his class if you need to have a competitive mark in order to get into a specific class. With the mark he gave me I had to take upper english classes in order to increase my average.

Bill is an excellent teacher. Drives the point home and makes Enlish and grammer fun to learn. Very funny, always makes class fun and tells it like he sees it. He's a hard marker, and he makes sure you're reading and writing. I took it first year, and I found it challenging, but hey, what's University all about? Very highly recommended.

Bill rocks! He is such a good teacher. It's hard to find a teacher that can make reading fun, and he really knows what he's talking about. He reminds me of a ned flanders, ernist cross (but way smarter then both!!!!

very funny prof..likes relating things to the simpsons and tells great jokes. He really analyzes text well and makes sure you understand! Awesome, but essay marks are nothing like high school.
