all we did in that class was give speeches. he also required us to pay for a $180 text book (thats how much mine was used) and we opened it once, when i tried to sell it back to the book store they offered me seven dollars. he will also likely show you his disturbing ventriloquism without a puppet, stay away

Bill was an awesome prof, I really respect him. His course load is pretty light, however take these assignments seriously as they are each weighted heavily. He gives plenty of opportunity for personal insight in his paper and is a fair marker. Using scripture and references from the book gets you a good mark. For exams, study the terminology!

He's an awesome professor. You can tell he knows his material inside and out. Out of all of our COMM profs he is the most organized and whose classes go the smoothest. He presents his material clearly and is obviously passionate about it. Great social skills (obviously), fair grader and a really enjoyable class overall.

Strom has been one of the best teachers I have ever had. I have learned so much from taking his classes; he is fair, kind and very knowledgeable in what he teaches. I recommend him very, very highly.

Took public speaking with him. He is a nice man who will help you if you need it. But extremely hard marker. Tells you what he wants but if you don't do it perfectly he slashes your grade. Very dry and boring information. I suggest not taking this class with him unless you are a great public speaker to begin with.

I think Strom is the best prof ever, I don't see how he has a dry sense of humor I think he's rather nice. As for you guys who didn't like him what you put into the class is what you get out of it, so obviousely you don't know what you're talking about.

This was one class I didn't hesitate to skip. If you took any sort of high school communications class you could get by in this class. Although his cheesy jokes are somewhat amusing, there was really not much that could be had from his dry sense of humor and teaching style.
