Very boring. Talks like Ben Stein...I had a hard time staying awake in the class. He's explains calculus well, and his tests are easy, but overall I felt like I was wasting my time. If you need a calc class, he's okay to take...but drink some coffee or an energy drink before class to stay awake.

This is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. He does not make you feel stupid and he is extremely patient. I am not good at math but he helped me gain confidence and learn at my own pace. I wish we had more teachers like him! If you struggle at math, he is the right teacher to take- you will learn and not feel dumb or rushed!

This professor's tests are right out of the problems he tells you to do in class. He also gives you a take home portion of the exam that is 40 percent of your grade. As long as you keep up day to day, you should have no problem getting an A in the class.

If you don't understand math well do NOT take him. Seriously. I understand math really well and have always done well for math you need someone who knows how to explain things and show you how to do it but he DOES NOT! For this level I would not recommend him. Prof. Cogan is ALOT better of a teacher. There are sum prof. who just shouldt be teachers

I know math is math. You bascially either know math or not. Nothing inbetween. But the thing thats bad is you have no slack if you mess up on a exam. The gradeing only involves Exam grades 20% each.
