f you have a difficult time with accents he isn't for you. He will write our proofs for theorems without actually stating what he's doing. He doesn't explain why things are in example questions but rather just states what things are. He doesn't seem to talk to the class but rather to himself as we are watching. He seems like a nice guy though.

Absolutely AMAZING PROFESSOR! I've graduated from Trent 3 years ago and I still remember Bing as if I was there yesterday. I have taken 4 or 5 classes with him, and I regret not taking more. He is an AMAZING lecturer, amazing professor, extremely knowledgeable, extremely funny, and extremely helpful! I have never seen him upset,, but smiling! :)

Bing is adorable and one of the nicest people you will ever meet! Calc in general is difficult but he makes you like the class just because he's so amazing, even if he seems a bit shy all the time. Bing's the best!

Best prof at Trent in terms of doing actual examples, but doesn't skip the theory either; perfect balance. All assessments are very fair. He is willing to answer any questions and always prompts the class for questions throughout the lecture (although it's rarely needed as he does a good job explaining everything the first time). Bing = best!

He wasn't a bad prof, just not very good. He would talk to the blackboard while writing out what he was saying and it was up to you to just follow along and hopefully get it. I find that sort of teaching style hard to learn from personally, but if you enjoy that sort of thing then he comes highly recommended.
