He is friendly, allows for expression, and gets to know you. His guidelines are clear and he allows students to explore their skills outside their realm of comfort. His ideas are fresh and I took 3 classes with him and enjoyed them all thoroughly.

Wayne has a warm heart and is very encouraging to his students. He teaches valuable lessons from his experience working in the 'art world' he has an incredible memory for recounting stories about artists. He is very giving. My best days at Acadia were spent in his classes and talking with him in his office. He could make anyone appreciate art.

Hmm, perhaps having some artistic talent should be a requirement for an art teacher? I dont think the highest studio class Acadia offers should consist of projects like the color wheel. Acadia needs a real art class with a real art teacher.
