Blair was my philosophy instructor back in the late 70's. He was one of my favorite profs at MCC, although I had friends who didn't appreciate him as much as I did. It helped that I had an interest in the subject matter, I enjoyed the mental challenges philosophy offers. I found him to be a caring & helpful teacher, and I highly recommend him.

As a student who came from a very conservative high school. I found Blair to be for a lack of a better word-strange! On most of the issues he was way to the left-but I guess that is what you can expect from a guy who grew-up in Liberal Canada.

Morrissey,Morissey,Morrissey!even though he pisses me off with his anti-religious beliefs, and is VERY opinionated which can be very annoying. He is a caring person I have much respect for him.

I took phil 101 and he used the book a lot.. you have to read it, and it was hard to understand. He pretty much required you to write down everything he says even f it has to do with nothing... hes a good guy though, not to hard if your commited. He does tend to ramble, its usually interesting not what were learning

Probably the best prof at MCC. A little bit too thorough, be patient through the first few classes and it will get good. Don't expect him to validate your opinion just because you believe it, and keep an open mind.

Blair is a completely opinionated jerk. Most useless class that I have ever taken. Supposed to be BIOMEDICAL ethics and very little biomedical ethics is taught. Covers useless topics in class. Also, a lot of unnecessary outside class work

Blair if a fun guy once you get use to him, he always wears his hobbit sandles... and he always said he didnt have a bias.. but made it very evident, he knows how to teach though, he knows what to spend time on how to stay on topic and when to give a student a break. Good tacher... looks like a mix between santa clause and an old hobbit. hehe

Loves to talk, but you have to watch what you take in notes. Most of the information has nothing to do with what is going on in class. Read the textbook and write a summary of the story and that will help with the quizzes over the stories!

Not an easy class but he is well prepared and serious about teaching. He does expect a lot of writing, his tests are partly essay. I always did well in writing, so I did well (grade wise). He requires some time on the computer at MCC. He has programmed the McIntosh there so some of this you cannot do at home (inconvenient).

Blair...What a guy. He teaches a hard class by is a good teacher. DO THE READINGS AND DO NOT SLACK OFF. Also work on the papers for two weeks in advance. Really hard grader on the first paper and really easy grader on the second paper.

Morrissey is one of the best. He's not easy, but you'll do fine so long as you do the readings and you take the time to write well argued and organized papers. I really learned a lot from this class

I did like this teacher at all. He only wants to hear what he thinks, not what you think. I was always asking when he would have a minute to show me why he marked my paper wrong, he would never have anytime. I didn't learn anything in this class. He bored me to death.
