By far the worst theatre prof I've had yet. It never seemed like he was prepared for class, and I was left feeling like I did not learn as much as I should have in his class. He does not try very hard to connect with his students and when he does give "lectures" it is a total snooze fest. Would not recommend anyone take Blake for ATAP

Comment:

I really enjoyed Blake's class. I always found acting to be my weakest out of being a triple threat. Blake really showed he cared about his students, and checks in on your goals and tries to make you a better actor. I definitely recommend him as a proff he is very inspirational. You will have to work, but in the end you will become a better actor.

Not a fan to be honest. When preparing a scene, remember that he is a FILM ACTOR, and has little imagination when it comes to students trying characters outside of what they would be stereotyped as. Ideas are vague and uninspired. Would recommend not taking his AT&P class.

Blake is a great prof. He is most interested in your development as an actor. If he seems a little vague at times, don't be afraid to ask questions until you understand. He knows what he is talking about. He is really encouraging and tells you what he really thinks. He is also friendly and sociable.

Not too bad but kind of a disappointment for a first-year student. I hope not all theatre profs to come aren't so vague with their teachings. I was completely lost most of the time and it puzzles me because he repeats himself a million times per sentence. Go figure!
