Comment:

Very nice professor. Very clear in expectations and explains everything very well. Tests are made up of some multiple choice and some short answer. As long as you take good notes, pay attention, or even just read the book, you'll do very well. Assignments are easy and straightforward as well. TAKE THIS PROF. HE IS AWESOME.

He is nice and cares. Quizzes and finals are easy if you read class notes and study a bit. He even asks you for questions to put on the tests. He is willing to help you. I took him over the summer.

VJ was a very nice guy. He was always available after class to discuss the content. However, he was often unclear with what was expected whether it was homework or tests. Due dates were never confirmed and it was never clear what would be on the exam. He took attendance regularly. No book use. Grade based on exams, HW, and final project.

Content was good, but tests were not on what was taught in class. Tests had elements of what was taught, but were confusing. Learned basics, loops, if, do whiles, for javascript, but exams were creating a full application, form or web page. Nothing applied from MIS300 pre-req, nothing from 305 applied to MIS405, tho was pre-req. MIS prereq's faulty

didn't take 422... skipped ahead so i could graduate. vijay was very understanding an was very willing to help me catch up with the rest of the class. it's a lot of work but you learn a lot that will help you in your mis career.

He expects you to work, if you do so, he'll notice and he'll reward you for doing so. Although, my class had a handful in it, be prepared to spend many late nights working on projects becuase he makes you do more than one. He is pretty good at lecturing. Grading wise he is very fair. Definitely take him if you can.

This is not at all an easy class, but duable, there will be some coding in frontpage for asp purposes along with him making sure you have your sql knowledge down, but after that it's pretty simple, just make sure to ask questions and visit him, he's friendly, oh yeah don't text message alot in class or be on the pc, he'll call you out lol

This is Vijay's follow-up course to 622. You put a lot of time into this class, but when you're done, you've actually learned something you can use to better your career. Exams are LONG! (4-5 hrs) but you can get a 100%. 4.0 definitely possible.

Very good class and very good instructor, very knowledgeble. Teaches alot of staff that you'll need as a MIS major. For those complaining about course requirements- read the syllabus!
