An excellent professor. You have 4 papers and he reviews them prior to due date so you fix them before they are due. He is a very intelligent person and keeps the class interesting and has much respect for his students. I would take him again if I could.

The amount of work is alot. I am an A student and I worked my ass off to get to only get an B. He doesnt ever teach because he just talks about his life and nonsense.Also he is the WORST GRADER on the planet.Don't take a class with him at least not African Politics.

Professor Wooldridge has a peculiar pedagogy that doesn't particularly suit any student of higher education. He tends to ramble on about himself throughout the duration of class and students conclude his course having learned materials via self-teaching. You'll be required to write at least 4 30-45 pg papers of no material value for your studies.

Blue is one of the best professors at VCU. And no I'm not an "A" student. He knows so much, keeps the class interesting and really shares valuable info. I found that when the class of 09 graduated(they really hated him)I enjoyed his classes much better. He expects a lots of work and it can be time consuming but I've enjoyed his class!

Lots of work which some don't appreciate. He tells you exactly how to write the papers so unless you are an idiot you should ace them. Name dropper-yes. I got the impression he just wanted us to know that we could actually DO something with the knowledge we should have gained. Lots of folks out there just don't want to do the work. Get over it!

Prof. spent a lot of time talking about his experiences and work that usually had nothing to do with the class material (especially the last 4 weeks). The assignments were very lengthy and repetitive. Out of 4 assigns. (was 5, but had to drop one due to time), we got back one. He never followed through on anything!

He is so unorganized. He always says he's going to post a grade by a certain date but NEVER follows through. He always goes on and on about his experiences overseas and never teaches anything valuable, nor does he ever have an organized lecture-- probably has something to do with him getting off track every 10 seconds.

It always seemed like he had better things to do than be in our class: Of about 8 quizzes we took, he handed back 1 the entire semester. During his office hours he would do other work on his computer and say "Im listening" while you tried to talk to him. Blue knows his stuff but he just has too much going on. Take the class but dont expect feedback

Demanding, key in to the readings, not so much the lectures. In my once a week class, he gave a quiz each week on the reading that to my knowledge, nobody recieved an A. The highest I got was an A- when I religously read the material. I might even label him a GPA killer.

Blue is very demanding. However, he knows his stuff and keeps class interesting. As long as you stick to the syllabus for the paper requirements (which is extensive) he lays out exactly how to get an A. Althought he requires ALOT of reading, he doesn't actually verify you read any of it. It's more for supplemental purposes.

If you want to learn, he is your guy. You will read and write a lot and will listen a lot. Classes would be better if he encouraged more discussion and talked at class less. Sometimes tangental but never boring. Extremely knowledgable on a wide variety of topics.
