There's assigned seating, imagine that in college, don't bother asking any questions in class b/c everything is planned to the minute and your questions don't fit in his schedule.The homework is crazy, 8 simple problems takes over 15pages to write. He'll yell at you and degrade you in class but outside of class he's the nicest guy in the world lol.

Dr. Bob is one of the best teachers at NJIT.You will never meet another kind, helpful individual like him. If you do his hws(using the book and putting effort) do all learning centers early , dont be late, and do on your own his practice exams you`ll get an A in his class. Go see him during his office hours you`ll get candy! He is simply the best!

How to get an A: Attend EVERY class 5 min early & sit in front, he doesn't look up too often. Start HW on MON, never night/day before! Get 100 on 1st exam (easiest, all ratio's & unit conv, basic math). Go to his office so he knows you. He may seem mean in lecture, but he's a puppy during office hours! Continued...

I loved Dr. Bob.His homeworks are crazy but if you complete them all, u will definitely pass w/o a doubt. If you start messing up (absences, audio-tapes,etc.) just go to his office and he'll help you work it out. Extremely helpful if you go see him. In response to other postings... I'm black and he still helped me. Knows his stuff, very smart man

Seemed crazy at first, but if you visit his office to talk, he's very nice. You have to be serious about showing up to class and doing your work. If you study the practice exams and turn in all your work, you will do fine, but if you are lazy forget it! Definately see the tutors if you need help and see him if you are having any problems.

I did not take his class but went to his office to complain about my Placement test grade and he discriminated me as though I have no respect at all. He even tried to curse me. He is the stupidiest professor I have ever seen in my life. All students who are not white, don't ever think of taking his class or contacting him.

Think: Chem Coot Camp. He gives away old versions of the exams but exam structure hardly changes. There's lots of HW, reading, extended class time and you NEED a lot of time to put in the class to get an A! Follow class instructions (and suggestions) and you'll do well if you're serious. Visit his office for advice & go to the TA for chem help.

Ok how do i explain BOB. At 1st i hated him. From the first email i got 3 days before semester started assigning work, to the 8-12 hour hw sets due every wed, to his boring lectures. But you relize evn if u TRY not to u WILL learn,and he is one of the most caring professors out there. Hang in there!
