I had Bob for every English class I had at SLU, and he's the best teacher I had at SLU. He takes time one-on-one if you are confused, and gives great suggestions for improvement. If you pick topics to write about that aren't TRITE you'll enjoy his class as much as he'll enjoy having you. ALSO, if you take notes, EASIEST class possible.

we read two huge, horribly boring books, both sucked. Quizzes are hard, but midterm and final are straight from old tests. Does not grade to hard, but he is really boring and totally unprepared for class! Try to take anoyher class.

he is really unorganized, hard to follow, gives hard quizzes. One quiz we had to fill in a word in part of a line from Paradise Lost. the Book is 300+ pages, how are we supposed to memorize lines!! DO NOT TAKE HIM!
