Let me put it this way... Litke is able to make me willingly walk into a 7:00 - 9:50 class and walk out with :D on my face. If you put even the tiniest bit of effort into this class, you will at least pass. If you put everything you have into this class, you will pass with flying colours and have the time of your life.

Not the greatest teacher, but that may be because this was an introductory course. Funny and interesting man, but does a poor job of explaining concepts during lecture... his tangents and metaphors are too long and distracting to be of any use. Make sure you read on your own (although it's hardly necessary if you have half a brain).

Comment:

Hands down one of the BEST professors Laurier has to offer. While he can be a little 'rough' or 'crude' to some; he has a phenomenial method for teaching and getting people involved. If you have the opportunity to take any classes with him I strongly recommend it. However, "explorations of the self" is probably one of the better courses.

Dr. Litke...from day one he was interesting! I went in just enjoying myself and came out a follower..he is brilliant, helpful and although his exams are challenging, he will bend overbackwards for his kids...a good heart! Definently recommend him if you want to be entertained plus want to learn alot....

Amazing professor, able to guide you towards the direction you'd never thought you would go. Mid term tests he will even go as far as telling you what to study in the study guide, answering your question after class no matter no much longer it takes for him to explain or for you to understand. One word: Fantastic!
