Feel like repeating an old post- In 2006 I took his class: Great teacher! One of the best I've ever had. He should teach teachers how to teach right.If you have your drafts done and show some work you'd get your grade. He definitely points out the way to get an "A". It's work though... English is my secondary language.

He is one of the most overrated teacher's in Delta College, he treats you like a High Schooler despite he SAYS hes trying to make you get out of that mind set. And he cusses way too much, and the guy treated me like crap almost every day in class just because my Dad was having car problems. Nor does he understand disabled people 1 bit, nor cares.

Bob is hilarious! The way his mannerisms are in class are fun to observe. He is definitely a great teacher, no text book, all you do is write 3 one page papers on anything! and an I-search paper. NO EXAM!! He was an amazing first teacher for me at Delta!:) One of my favorites. Take him!

Bob is by far the best teacher I have ever had. He gives a lot of one-on-one and gives great feedback. I had all A papers. At first he had a dry sense of humor and once you caught on, he was hilarious. He would show you examples of what he wanted and if you didn't give it to him, he would give you "$1000" for every concrete word you added.

Awesome teacher. Says the funniest things that always keep you interested. He actually teaches you things you NEED to know to right a good paper. Only has you right two paragraphs, 3 one page papers, and one three page paper. TAKE HIM!!!

Mr. McCarthy is the best teacher I've had at Delta. He has a real passion for teaching how to write, and he truly knows how to inspire his students to create great stories. He's the best.
