Bob Piscerchio is absolutely the best Physicist in the world. he puts carl Sagan and Michio Kakuto shame. They wish they were as perspicacious yet perspicuous as Bob Picerchio.

I never went to this class and pulled off a C+. He's very straight foward. I would have done better if I actually went to class. Most of the material on the exams come from the homework off the UTexas website so study those problems. He's not too bad.

i didn't go to class that much, and neither did most of my classmates, so that may have a lot to do with the confusion from the class. had i gone, i think i would have done better. he was just so monotone and is teaching a topic to a bunch of disinterested students. can't blame him for my laziness

horrible. didn't use numbers in any examples, jumped from one board and topic to another with out finishing his thoughts or work. just do your homework, go to help lab and study examples from book and hw for exams.

If you understand physics you will do fine. I couldnt stand the whining from fellow classmates who either didnt pay attention to lecture or skipped it. Be ready to put in about 3-4 hours atleast on hw each time its due. If you put some time into it you'll do fine.

Lectures were not always clear, but I still thought he was an ok physics teacher. Was very lenient when the class whined about hard homework problems. Final was cake! Let's you drop one exam which is nice too. Just do the homework and passing is easy.

Be prepared to work. Homework is very long. Make sure you know it because you will see it on the exams. Not very helpful during office hours. Made me feel unwanted several times. Don't take him unless you have to.

his method is to derive a complex equation for each problem and solve at the end, instead of going step by step. makes mistakes, even on the tests; seems confused sometimes. every test was regraded at least once... one got regraded three times due to errors. (though your grade can only go up)

The day that you stop attending lecture will be the day that you start succeeding. The only way to do well in his class is to obtain old tests because he reuses the exact problems, oh and of course, read the book because you wont learn anything from him.

Hard class. The homework is online. A lot of the HW problems come in the exams. Go to class because the example problems he does from the book will be on the exams. He does not curve. There are 4 midterms and you can drop the lowest score. The final is made up of HW problems. A 56% is a C.

I'd rather wake up at 8 every Tuesday and Thursday and run a mile. That's how terrible his teaching is! The good thing is that HW is online and others can help you. I would say about...20 out of the many students enrolled are still dedicated to showing up. At all costs, AVOID HIM!

Physics is already hard and he makes it even worse. He doesn't really explain concepts very clearly. Homework sucks, but the discussion board will save you. You probably won't pass if you don't put effort into it. Goodluck with this one!
