I took Lifespan Psychology online with Bob Rice. He does not give make-ups for any reason. I missed one test and when I could not make it up, I never missed another one. I think that's the point. If you are a serious minded person who turns things in on time, you will do fine in this class. I got an A and thoroughly enjoyed the class. Good teacher.

If you're self-motivated, this course is fantastic. The guidelines are crystal clear, the assignments are meaningful but simple and he doesn't require online 'discussions' so you can escape having to pretend to care about what your classmates think of the subject.

I hate this teacher. I would never recommend him to anyone! He grades horribly! If you are concerned for your GPA DO NOT TAKE his class. He does not give make-ups on exams and he gives tricky questions. He gives bad reviews. He likes to talk about himself too much. BORING teacher I fell asleep everyday.

Had several classes with Bob, great teacher, nice guy and VERY straight forward with how he grades. No surprises/exceptions here. Clear lecturer and uses effective examples/stories. Any bad reviews on here were from students who are afraid to work a little! - Highly recommended.

I enjoyed this class, it was like a seminar each day packed full of how life and people work. He told you what you needed to know for the tests, then tested you on it. Testing fare, he did it by score card, with a machine checking answers, preventing any bias. I liked that. He tells you if you fail, that does not mean he does not like you :O) funny

Bob is a funny guy that intertwines his life stories with his course objectives. The key to success is to study the objectives sheet and the review list that is given the day before the exam. His exams are very fair. My attendance was 75% and I barely studied. Usually for 2 days before the exam. I got a 3.9 gpa without taking the Final (optional).

Very easy instructions on how to do get a good grade. To be a 200 level class its very manageble. I put about 3 hours a week into this online class and got 3.8. so Imagine I should have 4.0 the class if I put the time into it like I should have = )

bob tells a LOT of crazy stories about his life. some are interesting, most are very boring. i hated going to his class everyday even though it was an easy A. he has the experience to back up his teachings though. every day is lecture, no homework, 3 tests make your entire grade, so know your stuff.

I took Rice's onlince Psych class. It was very easy and you MUST use your text. He give weekly assignments that were not very hard (maybe a little time consuming) and his exams were open-book. He is very strict about not accepting late assignments which was understandable when you're taking an ONLINE class. I give him a 4.0!!
