gives you a test, but doesnt tell you there are multiple answers to one question. will mark the entire question wrong if you miss you sample thing. He adds on multiple assignments and doesnt tell you what things are or when theyre due. And now youre unable to figure out your grade

Comment:

His class is ridiculous. He hands us an 80 page packet on Tuesday and tests us on it on Thursday. DON'T take this class if you aren't prepared to spend a considerable amount of time on his assignments and readings. He is boring in class so it becomes a chore to go. I wouldn't recommend this class to anyone.

Michael is a cool dude, and he's a good teacher. I'm a business major so an acting class was outside my comfort zone, but he's really good about helping people with constructive feedback. You'll definitely have fun in the class, but the papers are actually kind of tricky and graded tougher than I expected. However, they aren't weighted much.

Very into himself and his thoughts. He is a cool guy outside of class, but the workload is too much; crazy reading assignments and quizzes during every class. Very specific when it comes to answering questions. And he hates Shakespeare! Does have favorites. Reconsider if your not into that work load.

I had Michael for 3 classes and I enjoyed every single one. I especially loved stage combat. He is one of the best professors that you could ever take. He is nice and incredibly helpful. His classes not only taught me about acting, but also about myself. I will definitely miss taking his classes now that I have graduated from the U.

This guy is very full of himself and has his favorite students. There is actually written work for the class, but if you do it and participate you'll be fine. It's hard to have to sit through the class most days. Final is easy if you have a good partner.

First of all this is an easy A course. However, you have to do a bunch of written work for the class. Michael is extremely full of himself which makes class hard to get through. Lab days are painfully long. There is a final, which is acting out a scene with a partner. The scene isn't bad but counts as 50% of your grade so don't mess up on it.

Oh, how I will miss this class and the Jets and the side trip conversations. One of those professors everyone should have! Micheal and Co was remedy on the wounds inflicted by German class. I'll try to take at least one of his classes a year. Hopefully, we'll all be back in the fall for Intermediate Acting: Act 2.
