Not a very good teacher. Extremly boring. His lectures aren't engaging what-so-ever. He gives no real feed back on essays, besides pointing our grammer mistakes. Don't take English 101 from this guy.

The best thing about this class is that you never really have to go. I took Rogner for English 101, and I felt like I was in a 5th grade English class. He had quizzes on comma placement! He's a nice person but avoid taking English 101 from him if you can.

Bob is a good teacher. Although sometimes it seems that he does not want to have a group discussion. He does lecture allot; He does make you question things you have read and form your own opinions. He is more interested in what you say.

VERY nice teacher; encourages every student and won't say you're wrong (even if you are). Can seem boring, but listen closely and you'll catch the humor. Make an honest effort and you'll get a good grade.

Really boring a lot of the time, but still a good teacher. The class got more interesting as we got towards the end of the quarter. He is very fair and encourages you to form your own opinions. The tests are easy- he goes over the important points of all the reading in class. The essays are kind of hard- it's easy to get a B, but hard to get an A

Okay teacher, not the best english teacher I had. His teaching method is all lecture unlike other teachers who have students do group work. His grading was fair and the tests and quizzes where not too hard.
