There is a quiz every day and no tests but the final, but if you read the textbook you should be fine. This class is very difficult and for many of the students this was their second time taking it but he made sure they would pass because he was always there to help. The labs were very interesting and you learned a lot.

Worst teacher I have EVER taken. Not only is this class flipped so we are required to teach ourselves but the time we do have in class is spent in the 1 of 5 groups that we have, working on problems we aren't even sure how to do. He says he is available to help but he hardly ever responds to his emails&when he does help it is usually misleading

Let me say this, don't waste your time. He teaches you one thing and quizzes you on another. He makes sexual jokes in bad taste. 60% of the people who take this class fail and retake it. His labs are all over the place and unclear. He runs a 100% flippedclass using videos and online HW. You learn if you study but still fail as tests aren't on that

He is the worst professor I've ever had. You come to class just to ask questions on pre-lecture online videos. The videos teach you nothing and they drag on forever as if you have 3 extra hours in the day to watch PRE lecture videos on information you've never learned. Nice guy and knows genetics but has no idea how to teach or how to present info

Dr. Bob is the man! However, you are going to work for the grade you get. It's A LOT of reading in this class, but as long as you do a combination of reading, the practice problems and go to his office hours then you'll be fine. And remember, you have to apply the information you have learned. memorization will not work for this class.

I like him as a person, dislike him as a professor. Literally the most difficult class I have ever taken because you have to teach yourself everything. The exams are nothing like what he teaches and are worded EXTREMELY difficultly. He will help you during office hours but sometimes makes things more confusing. He killed the joy in genetics.

Most of his lectures are based off his online modules that you are expected to do and take a quiz on before every class. He is confusing and not clear in his lectures. Attendance is not mandatory but I recommend not skipping and trying to ask as many questions during the class period. Does not use a specific textbook so there is not much guide.

He knows the material, but he has absolutely no idea how to present it in a classroom setting. His lectures are very hard to follow and usually he just rambles, all of the exam material is based off of online videos he records of himself which takes up about 2-3 hours a week. If you don't do well teaching yourself then I don't recommend him.

He doesn't help you and makes you feel stupid for asking questions about his confusing and long lectures. I wish I had a different professor, and you will too if you take his class.

Did not enjoy this class at all. It's basically all online. He expects you to come to lecture, on top of 2-3 hours worth of video lectures weekly. Attendance is EXTREMELY important since he takes points from daily clicker questions. If you don't understand the class format in the beginning of the year, ask again. It took me weeks to finally get it.

Dr. Sheehy is an extremely helpful teacher. If you put forth effort in class and labs he will notice. He isn't that bad about getting papers back to you until it gets closer to the end of the semester. If you go into his office with questions he will help you out. I definitely earned a C in this course but finished with a B.

Weekly quizzes and midterm/final but also grades weekly online modules that you can retake as many times as you want. Usually in his office or lab and is always willing to help you with material.

Dr.Sheehy is a great teacher. Yes, the material is a little difficult... it's biology. If you put forth an effort and study, you will do fine in the class. Dr. Sheehy is very helpful, all you have to do is go talk to him. I would recomend him

I found Dr. Sheehy very helpful and always happy to help. The labs are easy, but have nothing to do with the lectures. It is not too difficult to get a good grade in this course, I got A, but you MUST study the book and his lecture notes posted on-line. Do the homeworks, they are a big chunk of your final grade, Bob gives plenty of time to do them.

Sheey is a good guy but homework and tests are impossiable. He even helped me with the HW then gave me a C on it! Tests are worded tricky. And you will never see any of your work handed back. Labs were fun. Class is manadtory, he takes attendance for a grade. Don't take this class if you want an A or B :(

Bob tries to make genetics fun, even though he doesn't normally succeed. Lecture tends to drag most days. Homework is extremely confusing and takes a month to get handed back. Lab doesn't correlate with lecture at all. You will follow the handout, write in the evil lab notebook and leave wondering what you just did. Not great, not the worst by far
