Took Prof. Wilson Spr 2011, and found him to be very easy going, and encouraging. 2 exams cover mat. he covers in class (if you miss class you miss thoughs quests. on exam). Project (have to learn how to make a website using Web Express---he DOES NOT teach you how to use prog.) Choose your grp members wisely since proj. is main part of your grade.

Was disappointed and wouldn't recommend. As someone said, he did NO teaching: 30 mins chit-chat, 20 minutes group work, go home. Only graded mid-term. On everything else people got the same scores including quizzes and gave the same grade on every group assignment (and didn't "grade" until after the term so you couldn't tell how u were doing)

I really enjoyed this class! Prof Wilson is SO nice and easygoing. Always willing to help his students. Tests are open book and fairly easy. The main assignment is your group presentation, so choose your members wisely!! I would suggest no more than 3 people because you will get stuck with SLACKERS! Take Mr. Wilson you won't regret it :-)

This professor is awesome. I don't understand the other ocmments. I did extremely well in the class. Everything is open book and all the answers are right there. YOU just need to know how to look for answers - and READ! It's not hard to do well. He is very helpful as well. TAKE HIM! He's great!

Exams are open book but there are hard!Very tricky Q'sthat are not easy 2find in the book its more like concepts than defints.90%of the class got D?s&C-s?exams and he only curve it 2 pts like that helps.Exams are 70% of grade make the math not easy!Its easy D- but thats it!I don?t really think any one is getting A or B- in the class.Don?t take him!

He was my favorite teacher this quarter, very nice guy. His class was not boring compared to other info 309 classes however he doesnt really teach the chapters. All test are open book and its up to you to know the material. I ended up getting a B in his class.

Likes to talk about current events at the beginning of class. Nice teacher, but a little vague on the few assignments we had. The group project is not easy, but we were given a lot of class time to work on it; however, writing the paper was time consuming. Tests are difficult, but open book. Don't bother taking notes, just read the book.

This class gave me a bit more grief than he claimed there would be. The course is more focused on the business project - GET A GOOD GROUP. He doesn't go into anything for the test except a brief skim through the text. The tests are open-book and is HARD. Make sure you look into the text beforehand...

I have had him as an instructor for 2 classes. His classes are hard, but he is very helpful. He wants students to do well, but he will make you work for a good grade. He is very fair, intelligent, and friendly. An A is not impossible, but you cannot slack off; the work piles up. I received an A- as a final grade in the last class I took with him.
