Zacharko was one of the best profs I've ever had. He really knows how to drill the inormation into your head through the use of repetiveness and constant questions towards the students. Eccentric...but I like that.

This class is a complete waste of time. The prof doesn't follow the textbook whatsoever and his exam was unrelated to the course material. There were 4th year neuroscience students in this course taking it as an elective who FAILED! The professor is a brilliant man but expects his students to know everything he knows about the brain.

Awesome Prof!! His lecturing style is definately unconventional, but so interesting. There is no way you could fall asleep in his class. It's true that there are almost no questions on the exam from the texbook, everything is from the lecture, but you really have to take notes and go to class (don't do CUTV with this prof)

RUN AWAY!!! do not take addictions with zacharco. Probably one of the most frustrating classes ever. You can forget about reading the textbook or going to class, neither will help you in the exam. He is also a little crazy in my opinion.

Wow horrible teacher, never take a class with him. Seriously avoid him. He doesnt make any sense and his exams have nothing to do with the lectutes. Literally. People with A+ averages in his class almost failed. 500+ students complained about him after the final exam

Awesome prof, very charismatic and funny. Expect to be asked questions in class (do your best, there's nothing bad about getting an answer wrong and it WILL help for the exam). Exams are tough and you gotta study! Textbook has very little to do with lectures and which readings are assigned isn't very clear.

Prof Z. knows a tremendous amount about how the brain responds to addictive substances. To get the most out of his classes, arrive prepared, and participate. This is not the usual lecture format, and it can be a lot of fun.

Not a fan. Doesn't make sense when giving examples, goes on about stories, like a guy named nick, but not relevant to what he is doing. Overall, horrible prof, not impressed. Expects you to know a lot, yet has no ability to teach it to you. textbook has little or nothing to do with the lecture, exams focused on lecture.

He is very hard to follow and the readings do not really have to do with the lectures. His exams are based on mostly his lectures. IT is managable but stutters alot. He starts talking about one idea and then doesn't really finish it because he changes the subject. Likes alot of student participation, asks them alot of questions and expects them

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. the prof is very disorganized and i think his main goals for this class are to confuse and humiliate his students both in class and on tv. The text is very expensive and is not reflective of his lectures.

I was really looking forward to this class..unfourtunately he has a horrendous teaching style. He is not organized and chapters on course outline do not meet lecture material. He picks on random students who have no clue what he is saying because he talks to quickly and mumbles. If you want to do well.. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

This class is not for the retarded nor is it for the faint of heart. Ridiculously hard but the prof is a riot...try not to sit on the end of the aisles though if you don't want to be put on the spot, especially since its a CUTV course!

A terrible prof., pleeeease avoid taking his class. He provides no outline to follow, no notes, and its impossible to write meaningful notes from his ridiculous lectures. Even if you do manage to write some notes, the exams have nothing to do with what was "apparently" taught. Just a bunch of really random qs. Don't expect to do well in this class.
