Bonnie is an incredibly helpful professor, should you seek clarifaction from any subject matter in the textbook. I would certainly recommend her for first year students. I have her for 1202:Women in Canada this semester, and so far it is quite compelling!

Borring material, but off topic class discussions get interesting No homework besides reading. Tests were awkward.. 100 questions in 1 hour. I finished each boths test right at the 1 hour mark...so time is restricted deffinatly. 8 page paper and group****ar involved. Literature is alot of complaining and no solutions..not recommended.

took intro to demography with dr. haaland. makes very interesting lectures, guest speakers. class was mostly student presentations. for midterm essays, cite as many authors as you can (and try to know a little bit of what they wrote about). funny thing was, i took the 2XXX level course in my first year. you'll learn lots for sure

Her lectures are so boring...you easily get lost, I didn't take one page of notes in this class, just studied the questions she handed out that the midterm were on and managed to get an A...all her stuff is straight from the textbook.

sooo boring! her exams are straight out of the book, but can be tricky. lectures are dry and boring. she doesnt give regular feedback on anything so u dont know how ur doing in the class. 2 midterms, 100ques. mult. choice. and the final is an essay. she's an okay prof., but wouldnt highly recommend her. I found Bonnie's class interesting but not many other people did as there wasn't much class participation. Bonnie loves it when you do participate. Fairly easy marker, and very open to opinions or questions about test marks. No Final Exam. Very bright lady and overall I think she is great.
