I TOOK HER CLASS IN 1976. SHE WAS VERY COMPETENT AND DOES CARE ABOUT THOSE THAT ARE THERE TO LEARN. FRANKLY I KNEW I COULD NEVER BALANCE A SET OF BOOKS, HOWEVER' SHE SHOWED ME GREAT RESPECT AND I CERTAINLY CAME AWAY FROM HER CLASS WITH A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF BUS. MANAGEMENT. HORRIBLE TEACHER! Stay clear of any class she teaches. She is mean and a rude hypocrite. She does not care about her students. She does not explain things and will get annoyed if anyone asks her to.

She didn't let me participate in the group project because I had a conflict with scheduling the day she assigned groups. I took the "online" class, but there was hardly anything besides the hw that was online. Don't let it fool you. You have to go to every class. NOT ONLINE AT ALL. Don't sign up if you think you'll be able to do this from home

Took Online course: HW-So easy bc its unlimited attempts and they give you answers..Online quizzes are kinda not really challenging, have your hw and book ready.Class room quiz is open everything including other peoples answers..Exams,everything on the study guides pretty straight forward. you have to be a super slacker to fail this class..

Took online. A lot of homework and she does not give partial credit. It's either all or nothing. If you do ALL the homework and projects and do well on the quizzes, you will pass even if you don't do well on the midterm and final. Slager is very good at answering questions via email but I would suggest another prof.

Ok teacher, but not great. Explains things ok. She has a short temper, sometimes its hard not to laugh when she gets angry, as long as your not on the short end of it, she can make you feel challenged She enjoys enforcing rules, this seems to create an atmosphere that isnt always best for the students progression or interest in the class.

I took online. A lot of homework! Spent about 6 hours a week to the homework. Averaged D's on the quizs. Test study guides helped, As I managed C's on test. All the points earned I got a B. About 8 hours plus a week is what I put in...

She is a very nice lady who is willing to help you. Quizzes are a bit tricky. Homework, you get full credit just as long as you have enough points a.k.a. 8/10, she will give you 10/10. She is a real stickler whenever it comes to the day of the project presentation. If you get up and leave, you automatically get a "0".

I found the first half of the class a lot easier to follow than the second. She is a good teacher but she does tend to trick you in the words on both homework and quizzes. Overall, the class was informative and somewhat interesting. You just have to be up for the work.

A pleasant, down-to-earth person and instructor. The class is not a cake-walk, but if you read the chapters and do your assignments, you should be fine. Exams are MC. She provides a study guide for each and it helps. For the quizes and exams, read each question carefully...she does trick you a bit words and dates. If you need help, ask her.

She is a good teacher. She has high expectations of her students but that is not a bad thing. She offers alot of things to help you along like homework templates and exercise templets you can print out and bring to class. she is a very good teacher for an accounting major!!

This was one of the worst classes Ive ever taken. Ive studied at three JC's, and two University Level Schools, and this was by far the most boring, unhelpful, rude, and difficult professors ever. Fill in ANY numbers on the HW, and you'll get credit, but leave one box blank, you get a 0. Tests are all MC, but it doesnt help. Good luck with this one.

She is a difficult teacher and you do really have to teach yourself, however, it is not that difficult to pass with a B in Acct 101 or 102. Complete all the HW.It doesn't matter if it is wrong as long as there is something written. No partial credit!!Quizzes are all online and can be studied for midterm and final

She is a terrible teacher... She puts a powerpoint slide up on the projjector and reads off of it... what she does is not teaching it is reading. She does not explain anything and her class is extremely boring. I loved accounting before taking her class. She only gives you credit for homework if it is 100% complete. I did not understand 1 question and could not answer it and I got a 0 for the homework... She can be rude at times and her method of teaching does not work for me.... I do not recommend her!

it is a hard class, but the best way to pass is form a study group with friends, learn from some one smart, team up to do the online quizes to score higher, let someone take the quiz then write the answers down
