Go to class take and make sure you take notes. Review notes and diagrams prior to taking exam. Essay exams, very easy just read your notes! I had heard his class was hard before I signed up, they were wrong. Just do the work and you will get an A. Major advocate of the CORE.

This guy is awful. He never utilizes blackboard, so you have to take extensive notes if you wish to be able to study the material out of class. His exams are 6 essay questions and the majority of your grade. He isn't very clear about what he is looking for when it comes to school work and exams. Avoid at all costs.

Okonkwo is a nice and helpful guy until you ask him to explain why you missed the points in an essay question (ALL tests are 100% essay). Some evidence that he grades subjectively. If you take the core project this class is for in the summer (courses are 6 weeks instead of 16) be ready for late nights and early mornings.

Very passionate person, but that passion doesn't translate to his teaching style. You get buried in notes all class which is difficult when he is explaining other things at the same time. Exams are essay, but not impossible. Only had 1 homework assignment. Doesn't use blackboard at all. A great guy, but a below average professor.

I would not tell anyone to register with Okonkwo. I literally phrased the answers to his essay exam questions straight out of the book, yet would end up with a B on every exam. Strange guy and rambles. No homework grades at all. Advocate of the core project which the other professors think is a joke

I really liked Dr.O. He is a very organized teacher. Although class is not required you should go and take the notes. His exams are very much like his study guides. The bad thing is the exams are 6 essays, 15 points each. It really is a large amount of common sense. I would take him again.

Patrick has the idea down, but lacks in the execution. He's knowledgeable, but please, its Marketing, the subject material only proves why its a cop out major. Exams are all essay, and his grading is a total mystery. Very involved with the core project however. Buy the book and study it, his notes are nothing more than bullet points and diagrams!

Dr. Okonkwo is a moderately difficult professor who lacks clarity in instructions. Despite this, he is very passionate about the integrated core and simply wants his student to succeed. I can honestly say that I learned the most in his class, compared to the other core classes. However, his grading scale very hazy. Studying the book does help.

Not too hard of a class. Tests are all essay, and he tells you what will be on them. Just make sure you write everything possible about a topic to get full credit. He's very nice, but don't skip class, because he will call you out on it in front of the entire class. The material isn't hard, and a lot of it is somewhat interesting.

Not a good professor. He likes to complicate things for you, something that would be easy and common sense, he would turn into a 30 minute discussion which complicates your thinking. If you have any questions about subject material, ask someone else in the class-for he will talk down to you. Also if you feel like being treated unfairly, take Dr. O!

I love Dr. Okonkwo, go to class and write down the notes from the overhead and study the notes for his all essay exams. He grades very easy on the essays, just write everything you know and you will do fine. He has great stories and loves to teach. Take him! Seems hard at first but a great guy and likes to help.

Nice guy but not a good professor...I would not recommend taking this class over the summer...it moves too fast and the exams are all essay. He expects you to know everything that is covered and on average you take 3 pages of notes front and back each day.

I took a International Marketing from Dr. Okonkwo online as part of my graduate program requirements. He is not helpful and responds to e-mail questions about 40%. He is a VERY UNFAIR grader. I received 96% total course points and was given a B+ which obviously should have been an A. I complained to administration along with many other students.
