I hated STATS but I have to say he is in my top 3 for all time profs. He had a great understanding of the material and presented it in an alright manner where I could understand it. P.S. GET A TUTOR FOR THIS CLASS! IT WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE

Worst Prof ever!Textbook is inconsitent and has huge grammar errors. Prof basicly photocopies the textbook and read the photocopy of the textbook but there's no way you can understand a word he says. Course material was fairly easy but final was insanly hard. Class average was 20% on the final.I had a 97% in the class before the final.Got a C after

Made the mistake retaking him after taking his ECON 205 class. His exams are brutal, average was 59% and he said that was "good"!!! Marking is really nitpicky too, every little thing is needed in order to get full grades. Avoid his classes

To he or she whom cannot interpret his accent or catch the way he pronounces words, tough prof to understand. but he speaks very proper english. His labs are easy, his assignments straight forward, and his exams never have surprises. honestly, not tough to ace.

The hardest, most unfair final in the world. 73% failed....he didn't scale, me personally dropped from an A to a B, it may not look bad, however, 4 letter grades on one test?? My advice, take it at the college, or just don't take it if he is teaching.

I had such a bad experience in Botai's Econ 205 class my 1st semester, I was worried about taking Econ 310 with him. Turns out he's a much better teacher at Econ310! I hate economics, but I really did enjoy his class. I found him very helpful, he really wants his students to do well. If you don't understand something tell him & he will help you

As someone who is terrible at math and had to take stats, I found Dr. Wang quite helpful and easy to understand. Not fantastic, but really not as bad as many people make him out to be.

The midterm, labs, and homework are simple enough if you put in the time to do them. He's sort of unclear at times, but you can always refer to the notes. The killer is deadly. At the start of the semseter, said the average on the final (40% of the final mark) was from a C to a B-.

Wang:"the probability of receiving head is 2. the probability of getting tail is 5" Student: "i like those odds" That was probably the only entertaining part of that course. Botai is hard to understand and a****ty teacher. Final is killer. I recommend taking the math equivalent of this course, its easy as well, and you'll be better off.

Botai's class wasn't hard. The material is boring and that along with Botai murdering the english language basically puts you into a comma. He stresses what is important(Chapter Fow), but the class is uniterteresting...makes for looooong mornings

Hands down, one of the worst courses/profs at UNBC. Talking the Econ course for Arts majors, we went over stuff that Econ majors weren't taking till second year. As a teacher, he is clueless too. Speaks VERY softly, had a VERY thick accent, and never answered a students question properly. BAD.

A pretty good prof. Unfortunatly he has a very thick accent which makes him hard to understand. He encourages his students to do well. Bad thing - his suppliment (a bunch of photocopied pagees) text book isn't very clear, not enough examples or clear enough.
