He is the best choir teacher that I have ever had. Everyday I go to choir with a smile on because he is so passionate about music. He is absolutely brilliant and not only does he help our choir to sound AMAZING, I also learn something new about music everyday. TRY OUT FOR CHOIR! It is an amazing experience.

Doc Almquist is a very very incredible choir director. He knows his stuff, and his goal is to make sure that by the time you leave the class, you know it too. He is very loud and passionate, which can be intimidating to a first timer. But after a while you get used to it and learn to love him.

Doc is extremely dedicated. He tells you whats to have learned by when, and if you don't go practice your part, I'm sure you won't like choir. However, if you are truly dideicated to the work and just do what you are suposed to, this class is an amazing one to take.
