Lissa (she goes by first name basis) is an amazing person. Her lectures were always entertaining. The best part about her is how real she was. She always was there to help and encourage everyone to be involved and energetic. Honestly, the whole scene recitation can be weird, but she makes it enjoyable even for those who don't like to speak out.

Lissa is the bomb and she is a blessing. She's not kidding when she says she's willing to help you out and be there for you, because play analysis is kind of a hard class. It's a really good class, just make sure you show up, do your papers, and watch Star Wars (trust me, it's more or less a pre-requisite)

As a non-theatre major, I feel like this class did not make me appreciate theatre. In the honors class, she makes you do this play analysis that is like 30 pages long. Then you have to do a scene w/ a scene partner and log at least 10 rehearsals. It was a lot of work and time consuming and a bit ridiculous even for an honors class.

Lissa is by far one of my most favorite teachers! Her passion for theater really shows, and it showed me the importance of theater. After her class my love for the arts grew exponentially. One of the best teachers on campus by far.

I absolutely LOVE Lissa! She is professional and engaging in the subject, but she loves what she does, and her love helps you better understand. She explains things to where everyone can understand. And if they don't get it right away, she'll try again. P.S. If you have her class, hang around her office. She loves it!

She makes you do group projects, and you stay in the same group all semester. I got a sucky group, and got stuck doing most of the work. The tests aren't too bad, but the final is what makes the class hard to get an A...it's 30% of your grade. Also, you have to come to class.
