Dr Meyer explains the subject matter well and is entertaining and dorky in a livable sort of way. He posts the tutorials online so you can rematch them. grading and workload is very inconsistent though. One week the assignment will be easy and he gives you several weeks to complete it and other times he expects assignments completed in a few days

Comment:
Very passionate about management, and that parlays very well into the class. Would highly recommend over any other management professor. Lectures can occasionally tail off, but for the most part, he teaches you valuable content about operations management.

He is SO passionate about the subject matter. If you actively engage in class and don't sit on Facebook the entire time, you will learn the usefulness of this class in everyday life. He's super nice and makes an effort to learn everyone's names. Extremely helpful. Just ask and he will lead you in the right direction.

good teacher, however if you are not the type of person that gets involved in class, he will show you no attention or understanding when asking him a question. Grading is very questionable on tests- sometimes his own opinion. I would not recommend taking this class, take it with BISHOP. And he thinks he is funny, when he is not.

Comment:
All drake professors should act as professional as this one. This class was very enjoyable and well taught. He assigned a lot of homework but he lets you work on it during class. The exams were difficult but he lets you use a cheat sheet. Take this class.

Dr. Meyer knows what he's talking about, although the subjects he teachers are kind of dry. In this class it was cool because he had a note packet with semi-filled in notes, so you still had to pay attention, but did not spend all of class taking notes. His homework is hard, but tests aren't so bad.

This was a 4 credit, 2-professor taught class in a 6-weeks summer semester. Dr. Meyer was nice and helpful, but had a very strange grading system. He also managed to take points off our presentation because two people spoke with an accent (he actually wrote it in his comments!). I would probably try to avoid him in the future.
