Brenda is awesome! Class is super easy since it's mainly common sense. You'll have to do lot's of readings but fairly easy to understand. You have to take lots of notes and if you don't take good ones you can always ask her for clarification. Super nice and fun. I would highly recommend.

Great person but not the best prof. Took two classes from her and she is very confusing and unclear, jumps around a lot and is very unorganized and hard to follow. Marks very well though. Would recommend bringing a laptop to take notes she goes very quick.

Had heard this prof was pretty good and that it would be an easy elective. Class material wasn't too hard, lots of reading though. Found that she was very vocal about her personal beliefs and rarely mentioned shortcomings of her views. She expects you to attend every lecture and contact her if you're not able to. 2 midterms, 2 essays and final.

Love Brenda and loved the class in general. She is very intresting and clearly loves her subject matter and the students. Granted this is my first year in university and I have only taken a handful of classes, but her midterms (2) were the hardest exams I have ever come across in my entire life. She is great though, if you take the time to study!!

She talks alot like shes gonna come up with a good point, then suddenly their is no point and shes jumped on to something else, which makes it very difficult to take notes, so rely heavly on handouts and using the text. She has no personal bias while teaching the class which makes her a great teacher.

The worst prof i've ever had. it was easy to pass, but I got more out of the class just by reading the text. She is constantly jumping topics during her lectures and is impossible to take notes from. And can't they stop that platform from squeeking?
