Good prof, makes the lectures interesting. If you want to do well on her essay's be prepared to have no creative freedom and stick EXACTLY to the outline (even for order of topics). Doesn't give great feedback for essays in person. Don't need the textbook.

Really sweet prof, she wants her students to succeed. She talks quiet so listen carefully and her notes do NOT get posted online so go to class. Her lectures are straightforward and you will only be tested on stuff from class. She outlines the essays and what she expects so its not hard to do well. Overall a really generous prof, highly recommend

VERY sweet and welcoming, always open to answering questions with a smile. Class is not hard at all as long as you take notes and remember them. She does not try to trick you on exams. Make sure to show up to class as she does not put notes up online, but is happy to go back to a slide when asked in class.

Dr. Cantelo is such a sweetheart. Exams are fair. She made the lectures more interesting. She clearly cares for her students. Definitely would recommend taking any of her classes. She is a little soft spoken so seat near the front. Attendance is not mandatory but she gives surprise assignments so better show up in class. Easy A.

She's the best professor I've had at UofM. Her lectures are very interesting and her multiple choice tests are extremely simple. She is very knowledgeable, especially regarding Hinduism. Her markers tend to be pretty harsh and give very little feedback, however. As long as you put some effort into the papers and show up to class you'll get an A.

Dr. Cantelo is a really great prof. She genuinely cares about her students and has a calm and lighthearted demeanour. There's no final exam in the course I took (Introduction to Eastern Religions), but 2 tests (multiple choice and very fair) and 2 papers. Overall, Dr. Cantelo made the course really enjoyable and low-stress. Definitely recommend!

She is my favorite prof i've had. She wants you to succeed, which is rare! there are plenty of opportunities to make up marks if you badly on exams. They aren't difficult but you definitely need to study for them. She knows what shes taking about. I have been in her class for 7 months & i have no idea what religion she is. Brenda was my favourite prof and this was my favourite course that I've taken. She is super interested in religion and enthusiastic so it is easy to listen to her. There are 3 papers and her markers give good feedback. The tests are all multiple choice from notes with 1-5 questions from the textbook. Textbook isn't necessary but interesting.

Best professor I've ever had. She gives amazing lectures and made me so much more interested in the subject than I had been before. Her tests are easy. She sometimes offers field trips to the class which are an awesome experience. I would recommend this class to anyone and I wish I could take another of her classes no matter what she's teaching!

Hands down the best prof at the u of m. World religion with her was interesting and fair, she always gave background information and was very open minded about others religions. It was also not a changeling course if you showed up to class and studded her notes a few days prior to the test. she tells you exactly what she expects in your paper!

AMAZING prof. Definitely take her course! She has a lot of personal stories that enforce her lectures and because of this, I find the content a lot easier to remember. This course definitely requires work though, and she is a tough tester (she makes sure you know everything so STUDY)Her notes can be a bit disorganized but she is super helpful!!!

She's the best teacher I've had at this university. So Interesting to listen to, she makes the class interesting and fun to learn. Her tests are super easy, just the essays are a bit tougher, tough 95+ but doable! Work hard on the essays and be passionate and youll do well! Wonderful caring lady :)

Very interesting, intelligent and clear professor that keeps your attention all class long, especially with her own interesting experiences. A little disorganized with her powerpoint notes but only gives you what you need to know. Tests are fairly easy and essays are fairly marked (through TAs). Very polite and approachable. BEST prof for religion
