Comment:

Extremely dry course. If it wasn't for the pop quizzes, I wouldn't show up to class. Takes way to long explaining things that should be common sense at this point. He likes to talk about alcohol a lot. I'm sure he is a nice man and seems to like what he does. I mean, if you need this course for your degree- don't expect to learn much.

Comment:

I had him for environmental chemistry and resource management. He was generally condescending in class but really pushed the fact he has office hours. I'm sure he would have been helpful there but he irked me too much to ever go. His lecture material was fine, but too many anecdotes for my taste. He thinks he's funny. Final (chem) exam was killer.

Brendan is an easy-going professor who knows his topics very well. He encourges class participation to get each student involved in discussion. He is always approachable and flexible when circumstances permit. I did not find lectures boring, especially when taking part in discussions.

Lecture is so boring, however Brendan was a pretty nice guy and his class is pretty damn easy. save yourself the trouble and just follow his powerpoints online instead of going to the lecture

I really enjoyed this class! It was pretty light..assignment wise (I took it in Oshawa), and the assignments were not tedious. His lecturing is a bit boring and he takes a while to get to the point, but other than that his classes were awesome! He is a rather easy marker, has a sense of humour and enjoys helping you if you need it! Overall great gu
