I took this class because I needed additional honors credits to earn an award at graduation. Very easy course as long as you complete each discussion board and do well on the exams. To do this, be sure to answer ALL subquestions on each exam question (even if it feels like you're writing too much). Very kind and knowledgeable instructor.

I took this class because I was too busy to take it in person. Dr. C. made it so easy to take a lab biology course online. I thought that it was going to be challenging, but if you put a small about of work in, and do all of the assignments, you should be fine. She is always open to you asking questions, which I loved. She is a great mentor.

Discussion posts every week. Do the work and you will get an A . The books she uses are very cheap! They are better than the boring textbook. Two essay exams. Very easy class and it is interesting. Definitely recommend taking her!

I took this class online and it was much more flexible than having to go to class. The videos that the teacher provides helps ALOT with understanding the material. She was flexible with turning in some of the homework especially on holidays. The exams are easy if you watch the videos and review the homework. I didn't use the book at all.

I sense that the students who showed up to sleep in class left the worst ratings. This woman is a dynamo. I had her in my undergrad years and she was amazing. She is incredibly smart and passionate about teaching. Her classes are fun and it makes biology matter to you. What's more is that she works hard to prepare you for what's coming. THE BEST.

I wasn't looking forward to taking a science class, but this was the best class I could have picked for my lab requirement. Exams consist of 5 essay questions, which is doable even if you don't have a strong science background. Discussion boards every week along with a lab. First day may sound like a lot but you fall into a rhythm and learn a lot!

A gay rights activist & makes no bones about it in her classwork: particularly this class. Uses 20 year old books that have been debunked long ago. Knows her science, though, and expects a work ethic. Labs and coursework are literally high school level even for an honors class. She likes to integrate online learning. Expect to use it or fail.

Dr. C is really nice! I took her Heredity and Sexuality class and I did really well. I HATE science and this was the least sciency-science if you need to fulfill a requirement. She was helpful and patient. I would recommend her.

This class wasn't too difficult and is mostly discussion based. It should definitely be CNET though because much of it is online, which is kind of annoying after being in class 6 hours a week. Two take home tests and a lab and discussion board post due every week. Don't let the books scare you, you don't have to read the whole thing.

The subject matter of this class is not the easiest, but she gives you the tools to succeed. She uses the eLearning site A LOT which is nice, exams are done in the testing center not in class. She really knows her stuff and responds quickly to email questions. Is willing to work with you and offers some extra credit for each exam.

Great teacher and person. Had her my first semester of college and she was very supportive and took an interest in me as a person. I found the class easy and she was very fair but she won't let herself be taken advantage of. She makes class interesting and is accessible during office hours and really will help you.
