Dr. Carpenter is the man. The class requires a lot of practice and reading. He is incredibly knowledgeable and gives great lectures and is always willing to help. The HW problems are exactly what to expect on the exams. Definitely take him.

Take him!! He may seem intimidating at first, but he's always there to help if you have questions. The homework problems and ones done in class are really similar to the test questions. All tests were multiple choice and curved

Professor Carpenter was by far the best teacher I have had at the University. Always curves tests and always there to help. If you stay on top of work, it's an easy A. If I could take him for every business class here I would. Learned a lot about accounting and business as a whole.

Awesome professor. I really learned a lot. He worked really hard to make the material understandable and made people comfortable to ask questions. There was a lot of homework, but they really helped with the exam. I would dfeinitely take him again.

Be prepared to be called on in class. Do not ever yawn with him looking. Read chapter before class and volunteer to answer questions to impress him. He lets class out early, sometimes really early, almost all the time. Good teacher, fair exams, and cumulative final.

Carpenter was awesome. He would teach the class really well and was also great with teaching accounting problems. The only complaint I had with him is that he would teach you a problem without explanation but the explanation was not necessary for the test. Other than that he was one of my favorite's at The U. TAKE HIM!!!!

He is an amazing professor! He teaches Accounting really well. Sometime he will forget that students in the class may not be familiar with some accounting concepts but if you ask him he will be more than happy to go through it. He is so sweet and cares about his students. He is also extremely helpful during office hours! I definitely recommend him!

listen to his advice. you might think he's being to tough at first, but he's not. He scared me to death at first but I took a lot of his advice and it really helped me out in the business world. His teaching really does make you understand the stuff not just memorize it

This guy is great. He really knows his stuff. The material is difficult but he does a great job explaining everything. The tests can be very tricky if you aren't paying attention. You grade is based on class participation and 4 tests. He does collect homework sometimes. Just keep up in class and do the homework and you will do fine.

This guy is the man. He loves his motorcycles and loves telling everyone about random pieces of his life which are absolutely hysterical. Hes a little tough but overall the best teacher I have had yet. P.S. Make sure you never yawn in class.
