Learned so much. Dont lag behind and you will do well. Extra credit oppurtunity to help you if you're grade is borderline. He is always reachable outside of class and dedicated to helping us. He always shows concern, ask us how we are doing, ask if we need help. Truly a exceptionally great professor in my opinion.

Favorite professor. You have 2 papers to write, but he will really help you. He really wants you to succeed and do well. He gives you a study guide. If you study well, the tests and quizzes will be easy. Lectures are really clear and easy to understand.

Rambles on about pointless stuff like mcdonalds workers being deskilled. Gives two books to read and two 4 page papers. He is anal about grammar and spelling and says that we should know how to write at a college level. Ironically, his handouts has tons of typos and errors. For a beginner class, he gives work like you are going for a bachelors.

Brian was an engaging lecturer. I took hist 152 to pad my GPA. His grading is crystal clear, and if you show up to class every day and take notes, his quizzes and tests are pretty easy. I found myself looking forward to his class and always paid attention (which for me is pretty impressive).

Cassity is probably one of my favorite professors at KCC. Lectures are long but keeps you interested. His grading is fair and easy to understand. He'll pretty much tell you what's on the midterm and final exam. You'll write two 4-page essays. Not difficult to get in contact w him out of class (office hours and email). He cares about his students.

Brian is a good prof, knowledgable, passionate & funny. But his lectures are really long and fast paced, it's really easy to fall behind. Quizzes almost every other class. Two papers on books (he helps you with it tremendously), Two exams. Take really good notes & study! Textbook not needed. Overall, pretty good prof. Makes history not boring

Great writing intensive class. Very interactive, lets you get to know classmates pretty well. Take home chapter quizzes due every other week. One debate and reflection. Five short response papers to articles (1-2pg). Two 8-pagers. Grades pretty hard on papers but provides a lot of feedback on drafts. You learn SO MUCH though!

He's an awesome teacher. There's about 12 quizzes, 2 Papers on books he assigned, & map quizzes during the semester as well as a midterm and final. Take him! you'll enjoy it. As long as you study you'll do fine. You don't really need the book because his powerpoints have plenty info. Oh ya & make sure you take good notes. Good Luck

Professor Cassity is very passionate about teaching, and he really cares about his students' success in life. He is quite outspoken in his views during his lectures, but he is fair in his grading. His course is challenging, but that is because he wants to prepare his students for life after college. If you really want to learn, take this teacher.

Lectures are kind of long, but he is very knowledgeable, helpful & funny as well! Make sure to attend class so that you don't miss all the information from the lectures. He is a super fun, easy teacher. His class is lecture based, but he goes slow and he puts his powerpoints online. He gives easy quizzes every other class, if you ask he will give you major hints as to what are on them. He gives 2 essays on books he assigns but they are also very easy to do. Highly recommend taking him.

One of my favorite teachers by far. He's knowledgeable and makes you want to go to class. Lectures everyday, quotes the book but his tests and quizzes are strictly from his powerpoints; so it would be smart to attend every class. I strongly suggest to take him. He will inspire you to do well.

Brian is one cool guy. I took two of his classes. I learned a lot from him but it is hard to keep up. Bring a laptop to take notes for 152 because there is a lot of information given. I took 282 for writing intensive and it was pretty challenging. Though the class pushed me to my limits, Brian really made an effort to teach me the information.

People need to stop talking about how much they hate his political views. He is a great teacher and gets thew point across pretty well. He goes off topic only to keep everyone awake. He is a great teacher and does in fact care about you because he gives life lectures so that you may succeed. This is a good class .
