Brian's very amusing and very nice. You could call him informative but most of what you'll learn has more to do with interesting episodes from his past than course content. Be warned- he tells the same stories in EVERY SINGLE class he teaches.

Brian is the greatest! He keeps his lectures interesting by intergrating stories. His exams are directly from his lectures and although he is a hard marker he is also very fair! I would and am taking as many courses with Brian as I can!

I have taken 5 classes with Brian and he is a great professor. He is very approachable and makes time for his students. He has given me some of the best advice I have received in University so far. He is passionate about geography and is enthusiastic in every class he teaches. I would recommend taking any class he teaches!!

Brian truly has a passion for geography. His enthusiasm and clarity helped to keep the class interesting and fresh. There is a lot of course content and it is appreciated that he took the time to simplify and thoroughly explain all of the major concepts. Loved his analogies!
