Dr. Ivory is an amazing man with an amazing heart. He creates a great community within the class and he doesn't let his own biases show never putting down another student for their opinions. He is no push over and you can by no means miss a speech day but he is by far my favorite professor I have ever had.

He is overall a great professor. I had COMM131 class and I had/have a fear of public speaking. He worked fairly well with me on that. However he was moreso focused on how the speeches turned out and how you performed them and meeting the criteria in that sense instead of also helping the person become comfortable to give the speech.

Dr. Ivory is an amazing professor. Wish I could take him every semester of college. I have had him for 3 classes now and wish he taught more. If given the opportunity to take him, defintitely do because he truly cares about his students and understands we have other responsibilities too.

This was his first semester teaching the Public Speaking class and he made class AWESOME... Genuinely cares about his students. I would take him again for any class!!! Well recommended. And I took this class in the Spring so I was worried about a lot of speeches all in a short amount of time but he made it a lot easier than I expected

The Class was GREAT with Brian! I took it 2 years ago, and to this day I still think that Brian Ivory was one of the best teachers I had at MCC. I came across my class book and my semester book he made us yesterday and I cried because he had such a big impact on the class. I highly suggest him as a teacher!

Dr.Ivory is the most incredible professors I have yet had in my 2yrs at Mott. What happens in Brianâ??s class stays in class so I canâ??t say much, but I can tell you that this class has helped me so much. If you are having any issues or struggles in your life, this is the class for you and if not still take this class; you wont regret it, i promise!
