GREAT professor for zoo! He loves what he does and is EXTREMELY helpful. As long as you study quizzes are easy. Labs are fun! He makes relate-able analogies to make concepts easier to grasp.

Great teacher, really loves zoology. Notes are easy to understand but it's definitely a lot of information, so make sure you don't wait to cram right before the midterm/final! Much better than some of the other zoology profs.

Really fun class. Not one of those ones where you sit and fall asleep to a boring lecture. You learn by working with the insects. Minimal studying, easy tests, and the project is fun. Dr. Keas is awesome! Take as many classes as possible with him if you're a bio major. He really loves what he teaches.

So Dr. Keas rocks my boat! I loved him and his little snail comments!! The quizzes weren't too bad and the labs weren't all that bad. Just make sure you know the slides for the quizzes. Ah, how I wish he would teach A&H, now that'd be amazing.

I love Dr. Keas! He's my favourite teacher so far! He's very clear in lectures, helps in lab, explains things when you don't understand, and is very friendly. His quizzes are tough, so definitely read the book and know what you're doing in lab, but otherwise, it's a pleasure taking classes with him.

BEST PROF IN THE BIO DEPARTMENT, HANDS DOWN. Lectures are extremely clear. He actually HELPS (a rarity in the bio dept) students in the lab! 4 quizzes cover very specific material, but he gives you what you need to know without any of the BS. Best of all, he will prepare you EXTREMELY well for the dept. exams. Make Dr. Keas your first choice.

Lectures and notes are very helpful. However, quizzes are extremely difficult. There are lab questions in the quizzes too, which make it so tough. If you want an easy A, don't take him. But you definitely learn a lot from him. He is also really helpful.
