He posts all the powerpoints and is really nice. He tried to get us to think out of the box on tests but he curved accordingly which was really nice. I'm pretty good at bio and I made an A- even though I probably should have made a B+. He cared and was super nice so I would definitely take him again

He is very knowledgeable but a bit too much. He can be very confusing, he never has a straight answer for questions, hes not rude about it. He gives tons of bonus points so that's cool but I feel like I dont understand anything about genetics

Masters is an incredible professor! He is by far one of the best professors Ive had. He is incredibly knowledgeable and will help whenever need be. He gives study guides before every quiz and exam and will answer questions on them and/or take questions on any unclear material before every class. Masters gives you every resource youll need

Masters is a really great professor. He's understanding with students who don't grasp intricate concepts right away and is fairly easy-going. There are weekly quizzes, but all of which are curved. He posts recorded lectures with slides, and study guides for review. He's passionate about students using concepts to learn, not just to memorize them.

Long lectures, but he uses panopto and posts powerpoints. He posts study guides too. No textbook, so just listen to his lectures. Gives 1 quiz a week to try and boost grades. Curves exams a little. Basically everything is multiple choice except the recitation exam. Good class for auditory learners. Class requires effort, but it's doable.

Genetics is an amazing course on it's own. Masters teaches by making everything crazy easy to understand. I highly recommend taking him. He gives extra credit to every quiz and test. Easy weekly quizzes, 4 tests. No homework, he records his lectures. Sometimes goes off on random stories, but overall a good guy. Highly recommend!

Dr. Masters is an amazing lecturer. However, His tests are tricky and he wants you to know the material very conceptually. The best thing is to record his class because it is very hard to catch everything in the class. Lot of guys did record his class. I took his summer and it was very heavy. You have to study hard for his exams.

Record your lectures and really go through them. Use all of his study guides and extra questions and follow up with him during office hours to go through anything you might not understand. He seems very unapproachable in his office but go anyway, he will give detailed answers. Overall great professor. If you do all of this an A should be easy.

Awesome professor, one of the best at Towson. Tests and quizzes based off of the lectures, so if you don't come to class, you're screwed. A very fair grader, and very passionate about his class. I will definitely be taking other classes taught by him in the future. Don't buy the textbook, it's a complete waste of money.

Dr. Masters' genetics class has been one of my favorite classes I've taken. No text book required. His lectures are interesting and he is passionate about science. Follow the study guides he posts. On his exams, he reuses variations of the quiz questions, so make sure to study those. Pay attention to tricky wording on exam and quiz questions.

He was a GREAT teacher. If you ever have a question, he answers it very thoroughly. His exams and tests are on exactly what he teaches in class although there is no text book. He posts all information via blackboard and also posts all quiz and test answers online with explanations. The study guides are exactly like the test or quizzes too

There are weekly quizzes, he gives study guides for all quizzes and exams. Posts answers to quizzes and exams on black board with more information to explain the questions and other possible questions that he could ask. There is no textbook, so attending lecture and taking notes is important, you have to listen to what he says power points posted

Professor Masters is by far the best Biology Professor I've had at Towson. He gives real world examples to make things easier to understand. He loves to talk about his kids after a lectures worth of Genetics which lightens up the mood. He does not move onto the next topic until you understand what is needed even if it delays the class period.

Dr. Master is an amazing bio professor. As a chem major I was worried about taking this class, but his lectures are super interesting and I almost always WANTED to be there for lecture. I would suggest taking notes on your computer b/c he mentions a lot of content which is hard to write all down. Attend class and do the study guides, youll be fine

Dr. Masters has been my favorite professor by far during the two years I've been at Towson. He explains everything so well and makes sure that everyone's questions are answered before moving on. I took this over the summer and it was a LOT of content to cover in a month. Study well and make sure you understand concepts and you'll do well. LOVE him!

One of the best professor so far that I've had. His quizzes are pretty tricky but do the study guides and you'll do well. When taking notes focus on writing what he says that's not on the slides. A lot of the info on the quizzestests was not on the slides. Ask questions during recitation, participation points.

Dr. Masters is a great professor! Very passionate about genetics, goes off on tangents but it is useful info that might be on the testquiz. Do not buy the book. Do the study guides and you'll be fine. I would love to take an additional course with Dr. Masters!
