Dr. Fleury is a great professor and has a lot of fun teaching which makes it easier to attend; I would definitely recommend. Your grade is based on three tests and one final. He is always accessible in office hours and gives great advice but you may have to wait in line. Also make sure you know all taxonomy for the tests!

So happy that I had the opportunity to take Professor Fleury's class. Really wants to make the class interesting. Throws in a lot of jokes. I did not do well on two of his tests, but still managed to make an A- in the class.

Go to class you'll do A LOT better than if you don't. The tests require a lot of studying since there are about 300 on every test, except the first. So make sure you do amazing on the first test cause the rest are very difficult since they are on so many terms that are so hard to remember. The final was easy though. He drops a test which is nice

Prof. Fleury is amazing! He's an extremely funny guy and he's able to make a boring class super interesting. Prepare for lots of funny videos and personal anecdotes. Tests are tough only if you skip class - they're entirely based on lectures (textbook answers are "okay", but not recommended) and I got an A without even getting a textbook.

Great teacher. SO passionate and makes every single person laugh, every lecture. He is very knowledgable and makes not so interesting material interesting. He is so sweet and helpful at office hours. DEFINITELY take.

Non-science majors revere him as a special augur of As to our transcripts in the otherwise terrifying abyss known as the required science classes, while science majors love him as one of their first intro professors, always bringing charm, humor, and great knowledge to his classes.

AMAZING. Science is a hard subject for me so I wouldn't say that it was an "easy A" however he is a great professor that is engaging and interesting. GO TO CLASS AND OFFICE HOURS it makes and difference. DON'T BUY THE BOOK

Professor Fleury is a genuinely good guy who really cares about what he's teaching. I'm not a great science student, but his passion for the topic definitely was inspiring. The class is a LOT of memorization, but if you study his term list, you should be fine. Bonus points randomly given out for attending class. The textbooks aren't necessary.

This class is sooo easy. You don't even have to come. Peep the term list and study those via quizlet and you should pass the class no prob. If you don't though you will definitely fail. DONT BUY THE BOOKS. THEY ARE NOT REQUIRED.

This guy is legendary. By far the best lecturer I have ever had. Attendance isn't taken but I'd recommend going because he gives major hints during lectures for what's on the exam. Not a super easy class but very easy to do well in if you just put in the time. All memorization but it's not hard if you learn the term list and Phyla. Take him!

I was told that this class would be easy. For one, the lab that's required to take with it was awful. I had to study a week in advance for Fleury's tests, and still didn't pass. He is helpful but still not an easy class.

fleury is amazing and is super funny. his lectures are interesting so you should go to them. however, the class was so big, attendance wasn't mandatory, and all the lectures were posted online, so there was no motivation to go class. even though fleury rocks, his test are super difficult. take it if your good with latin names and fill in the blank.

Fleury is amazing and while i am not a science student, I would take one of his classes again! Very tough tests. Fill in the blankmatching w no word bank and 300 terms per test. He's helpful though and wants you to pass. Take Fleury!!!

Professor Fleury is probably one of the best professors I have had. He is super interesting and very fun. The class itself, in terms of tests...were difficult. Memory intensive but the final was very straightforward and thus very easy to to well on. Don't be worried if you slip up on a test because one is dropped. Good luck!

This was a great summer class, if you go to every class he will bump up your grade. Keeping track of all the terms is hard by manageable. And he is always willing to help, and really cares about the subject and how well his students preform. I would for sure recommend that you take this class over the summer.

Fleury is an awesome professor who obviously knows his stuff. He is fairly engaging and he really likes to make connections with his students outside of class. However, it is very easy to not go to class simply memorize the material the day before the exams (which are HARD). If you like EBIO, take him, but this is NOT an easy lab science credit.
