Dr. Greenberg is a good professor, I feel like he understands the struggle of students so he makes his exams very straightforward, there were no trick questions or anything that wasn't covered in the lectures, as long as you studied what he taught and knew what you were talking about the exams were fair. His teaching style is slow but interesting

compared to the other prof teaching this course, hes pretty thorough with testing you on all the concepts. its straightforward for what you need to know, all info are on slides. can be a bit dry and dull but his short answer/long answer final exam is much preferred to the annoying memory-blank filling enzyme-memorizing midterm by other prof.

His lectures are very boring and he gets off topic a lot. The course covers a lot of material and requires straight-up memorizing. The labs are long and the lab reports were a pain.

Solid prof. Can be a bit dry at times, but he is clear in his explanations. Doesn't move too fast, gets the concepts across well. Tests fair and straight from the notes- don't need the text at all.

Course is interesting, and helpful in looking for environmental jobs, but prof is terrible! Very boring, always goes off on tangents and covers very little material. LAB IS TRULY TERRIBLE!!! Reports are very long with poor instruction and birng down mark significantly!

Comment:

The midterm was relatively easy compared to the final, written by someone else.Final covered a lot of material and was short answer form. Labs included in course and took up too much time when ended up getting bad marks. Overall final was ok but still pretty hard. Do not recommend this course along with other core courses, take in spring!

The lecture portion of this class is not too bad, the midterm and final are fair. The problem with this course is the long and boring lab component. The labs bring down the class average substantially. If you can avoid this class it is recommended that you do so.

This guy is a jerk out of the classroom, I once went to his office to ask him a question, I walked in and asked politely, "am I disturbing you?" he says, "yes" and then I say, "should I come back later?" and he responds, "no" and made it very obvious he wanted me to leave. Labs were terrible too.

Excellent prof.Makes what is a dry course,into an enjoyable one.Very easy going and likes to crack jokes.Basically gives you what's going to be on exam but go to classes and tutorials-he'll give hints there.Also, make sure you know the stuff, the exams are long and hard but you should be able to do the questions since he tells you what they are...

Easy biol course, midterm & final questions straight out from his notes. no textbook needed. there is a lab components which consist of LONG lab reports but it's not hard just takes time. High recommend if 3rd/4th yr students need a science bird course.

Lets start off with him being a jerk, he's a jerk. The day before the exam he takes off to plant trees for an experiment, ok fine. We email him about questions regarding course material and he says he'll meet us at 4 the day of the exam. So we (we being a collection of 4p, or so students) meet outside his office at 4pm. He's a no show -->continued
