Dr. Larson has been one of the best professors I've had so far here at UNCA. He is very clear wit his teaching and his expectations. He will tell you exactly what is on the tests and he gives out helpful handouts all the time. There is not too much work, all you have to do to get a good grade in this class is show up and pay attention.

Great, great teacher. Take micro with him. A little dry, but very clear on expectations. Composes comprehensive handouts for you. Sometimes even hands out neat articles. All you really need to do is show up to class. Attendance is a pet peeve of his and he'll be snarky to people who miss a lot and don't email/have an excuse. Didn't use book.

Dr. Larson is a great teacher. Completely organized, easy to follow. I, personally, was bored but I'm not super interested in Micro anyhow. Study class notes for test and you will be fine. Never used a textbook with him

His teaching style is slow, limited and fairly easy. 3 exams, 3 essays and group conversations. His classes can be dry, but that's just the material. Attendance is mandatory, but I feel as if he would be understanding. We only take few notes in class, because he gives out lots of hand-outs! Tests are on the easier side.

Awesome teacher. He takes attendance but if you e-mail him and tell him you will not be there,he is very understanding. His tests are pretty straight forward (as long as you study). He wants you to succeed and seems to really like teaching. I will definitely try to take more classes with him.

Larson is definitely one of my favorite professors. He actually gives a damn about how you do in his class and will do everything he can to make sure you have the grade you deserve. His test are easy if you put in atleast and hour or two of studying and he gives you all the material you could ever need. I will definitely take more classes with him.

Great teacher. He leaves the "tricks the the magicians" as he likes to put it :). If you go to class, study before the exam, there is no way you will not get an A for the course. He is very clear, nice, and funny too! Wonderful professor.

He explains everything very well, and the test are completely verbatim, so the book is useless apart from side studying. He is funny, and is a fair grader, and is just all around great. I am taking him again next semester.

he's extremely organized and willing to explain material. don't waste your money on the book....everything on the tests is verbatum what he goes over in class...literally...definitions, problems, exercises..etc....try to go to class, he takes attendance and it factors heavy in the grade.

dr. larson (while a neoclassical economist) is incredibly smart and able to convey his point (even if it is not cutting edge economics!) he's always willing to help outside of class and he's usually in his office and willing to help with non econ stuff
