Comment:

Dr. Bersson is a really nice guy, but I didn't really like this class. He focuses more on the "cinematic" aspects of the films than on the actual IsraeliPalestinian conflict, the class is 3 hours long, and there is a lot of writing involved. That said, I still feel like I learned a lot, and Dr. Bersson truly wants all of his students to succeed!

Comment:

Dr. Bersson was the best! The work isn't hard (no tests or books!), but there is a LOT ; you need to watch 2 films (usually 2 hours long each) a week, and do journal entries. It was fascinating, and he does his absolute best to make sure you get an A. If there is something missing, he will let you do it over, so you can get an A.

HON 300: IsraeliPalestinian Conflict through film was a pretty fun class. The fact that it is three hours long in the evening can be a pain. Some advice: BE SURE to finish every set of films by the end of each week. You won't be able to complete the journals on time, otherwise. Take this if you're interested in the subject.

Very easy class. Has an attenddence policy. No exams at all including no final. Have to keep a journal that you turn in twice for a grade. Have to visit art shows and a museum. Lots of extra credit opportunities. Easy A.
