He's the reason I would prefer to be in Concert Band than Wind Symphony. Worst Conductor I've seen. He's supposedly well respected, but simply a joke

Dr. Moss is a talented musician and conductor and prepares his students well for concerts. In addition, he is one of the most caring people I know. His classes have a good mix of great repertoire, current events, and relevant stories that remind students to live life to their fullest. He has had a major impact on my life and the lives of others.

I completely agree with the last comments. He's not the clearest director, but he does speak his mind and DEFINITELY knows what he's talking about. However, people need to work. If you're not willing to work, you can't complain. He rarely plays favorites. Put in work, get back reward. Don't expect freebies.
