A great and interesting prof. His lectures were great. The projects were interesting and helped me to develop what I liked in art. He marked fairly easy and his classes were fun. He was willing to help you with your problems and help you fix them. Sometimes it felt he was a little overworked and was less helpful, but I enjoyed my times in his class

Very expressive. Loved his lectures. They were quick and informative. He is easy to listen to and great to look at. He brings out the best in you and finds something good in everyones art. Look forward to taking more of his classes!

Iam suprised that someone has given Bruce such a poor rating! he is not only an awesome artist and person, he is also a great Prof. You dont have to be'busty'to get a good mark(unlike what was previously stated)you just have to demonstrate your talent and dynamics, if you take his class as a joke,guess what,your going to get a joke mark-logic,eh?

he has made me realize my own potential as an artist. he helps develop a mindset that will help you enter the real world of art. in a round about way he has opened my eyes to the artistic voice i always had, and has shown me how to capitalize on it. plus he is hilarious to listen to (doesn't always make a ton of sense, though)

don't bother taking independant study if you are not a busty 25 year old chick ... he schedules all his classes on two days only so you don't have a chance to get a crit or he's in a faculty meeting.. no office hours either.. its a rip off! on the other hand .. if you are not a serious artist and just want a c+ for doing nothing - go for it....

He's a cool guy. I enjoyed all of my 2 years in his classes. If you need help, ask for it, don't expect him to go around asking if you're ok. His teaching method is awesome, openmindedness is always prefered. Pretty much anything goes.
