Enderle cares about his students, is clear in his grading criteria, and patiently answers students' questions, no matter how small. He even discussed anxiety-management strategies for our midterm. If Chem isn't your thing, this class will be tough, but he gives you more than enough resources to succeed. Follow his advice and you should be fine.

An amazing professor. Whatever clarification needed was addressed during OH. Had videos in case you were still shaky on a topic. His reader was super helpful; would recommend purchasing it. Be sure to do his practice tests!

Enderle is one of the best professors I have ever had. Go to office hours and use his reader and you will do well in the class. Just be aware that since he is such a good teacher his curve will be less generous than other CHE2A professors.

100% the best intro chem professor at Davis! I was never actually registered for his class, but I sat in on every lecture since my professor administered the same midterms and final as he did. I am not good at chemistry at all, but he made me love this class with his demonstrations, responsiveness to students, and genuine care about our success.

Best chem professor. His exams are generally harder than the other professors, but his lectures are great and it's totally worth it. Will receive great score if participate in lectures and do the practice questions. However, be aware that his classes always have a long wait-list and are usually very hard to get in to.

PHENOMENAL lectures, great professor and very personable, less than 14% of you will get above a B- (that is a statistic, he grades the final letter grade using a bell curve). Just be weary, you will learn a lot and work hard, you still might not get the result you want and it could be (very) detrimental to your GPA.

Prof. Enderle's classes are super hard to get in, and his office hours are always super crowded, which stands for he gives great and explicit explanations to almost every questions. He respects his students and their questions, and every inspirational as he has always being.

I loved Enderle! He helped me hate Chemistry a little less. I believe the tests were a little harder than other classes, but I'm really glad I took him nonetheless. He is very reasonable and has good pacing. He does these awesome demos and nothing on the tests really surprised me that that much. Make sure you go to lectures and get his reader.

Very good chem teacher. I haven't had anyone else, but it sounds like he is the only good one. Midterms are difficult (and probably the final, haven't taken it yet), but if you study super hard or are very good at chem you are probably good. If you took AP Chem you will probably be fine. Very funny, lots of review sessions. GET THE READER OR DIE!

Enderle is one of the best professors at Davis, hands down. He is such an amazing lecturer and he really cares about his students. If you get his reader and do all the problems, you will do fine in his class. He has lots of resources! An amazing professor.

Enderle is a great professor but his classes do require lots of work. His lectures show many examples and his reader is very helpful. Do lots of practice tests and ask TAs for help. You can get lost in lecture easily, it is helpful if you read over the lesson before it takes place. Lab is a bit of a pain but is manageable. Would highly recommend!

Professor Enderle is by far the best general chemistry professor here at UCD. Ive taken CHE2A-2C with all different professors and I felt that Enderle was the only one who was genuinely good at his job. Great lectures that are interactive and don't bore you to death, and you can really tell he's passionate about what he's teaching. The best!

Professor Enderle was awesome and the best chemistry professor I have had yet! He gives clear expectations of what to know for exams, and gives you all the tools to succeed in class and in office hours. Take advantage of the homework and practice problems he gives, they will prepare you for exams. Thank you Dr. E!

I have to say he's a bit overrated in that you shouldn't expect to understand chem just by doing the bare minimum (i.e. looking over the reader, going to lecture, and doing hw). Do a LOT of practice problems, esp by trying to understand why you do each step. His tests are honestly predictable if you do enough practice tests. Great lecturer tho.

Prof Enderle was awesome. Lectures taught all the main concepts you needed to know for the homework and the exams. Make sure to buy his practice exam reader to get like 12 of his previous exams. To do well on the tests, just do as many practice exams as you can. Be careful though, because sometimes his exams are longer than practice exams!

Enderle is a great choice for any chemistry class. Personally, I did not like him. He strongly recommended (required) us to purchase not only his reader, but his exam practice and solutions manual, and of course the online homework. This is a VERY expensive and VERY time consuming class. In addition, his tests are significantly more difficult.

Enderle is the best professor I've ever had, and UCD is lucky to have him. He is an outstanding lecturer who provides ample resources to succeed (clear and thorough reader, videos, practice problems, practice tests, demos, etc.) and somehow stimulates interest in dry and complicated topics. Would 11/10 recommend to all future chem students!
