I took this professor about two years ago and I was very excited about the subject matter until I met the professor. Professor Waite is rude and a horrible professor. She can't teach unless she has her boring, monotone notes that do not correspond to the required readings. If she forgets her notes she can't teach showing how unprepared she is.

Great subject. Great materials. Poor teaching style. She likes to hear herself talk and will run you over if she doesn't like your opinion, even though she demands people give their opinion. She's pretty rude and doesn't act on the stuff she teaches. Not a nice person but I did learn a lot in her class but I could have learned just from reading.

Cally is an excellent teacher, although a bit "old school." (No pun intended). She is knoweledgeable and helpful. The other people that posted comments clearly never talked to her outside of class. I'm also willing to bet they never took a history course before either. KEEP ON CALLY!
