You do not need any text books for this class. Shes very funny and outgoing her class is not boring at all ! its more of a group setting. No homework is given but you do journals every week on blackboard. Take her class its entertaining !

One of my favorite professors in COD. There are no quizzes or tests. This class only focuses on submitting each week one discussion board post (which are very easy) and a group final project (also very easy & fun) Majority of the time theres in class discussions and that's pretty much it. YOU WILL LOVE HER AND THIS CLASS! LEARNED SO MUCH!!!

Prof. Herrington is nice. She keeps it real, no sugar coating. She's and easy grader, but feel as if she assigns too many assignments on black board. Attendance is mandatory, so if you skip too many classes you're grade will be affected. The final is a huge group project that you work on the whole semester, graded individually.

Miss. Herrington is probably one of the most respected proffessors at this institution. If you come to class ready to talk and debate, the class will be a breeze. She is very engaging and definitely knows how to spark the interest of just about every student in class. On top of that she is also attractive which makes it even more easy to focus up.

I had Professor Herrington for Social Problems online. I wish I could have had her in person, because I enjoyed having her online so I know I would have really enjoyed her in class. You can tell she's very passionate about what she does and cares about broadening your horizons and having you consider different perspectives.

The class is awesome and so is the professor, very easy work and no test or quizzes! would recommend this class to anyone, participation is key so if you love to talk this is the class for you! Don't judge the class by the first day, if you stick around towards the end you will love this class.

She is super nice. She does offer Xtra Credit. The homework assignments are simple, they are opinion based. Plus, they are to prepare for discussions in class. I would recommend to speak up in class. She shows videos related to material. Very easy going and laid back environment. No quizzes or Test. Only a group project for Final.

Professor Herrington has by far been one of my favorites at COD. She is very laxed, and is great for the subject she teachers. I took Sexual Relationship/Family/Marriage with her to complete my associates degree. I HIGHLY recommend that you take that class, it's super fun. She does not have a textbook you have to purchase also! (bonus!) take her!!!

Class was too relaxed, students left or didn't come because lectures were so unguided & unrelated to sociology. She talks about herself more than she teaches & gives extra credit if you pay attention to her personal life & take notes about her. There are no tests/quizzes, but there assignments and attendance is mandatory. Sometimes she's funny.

This was my favorite class to date. She is an instructor who is real with the students and relates the lesson to today. The class was always fun and I looked forward to going every week. She makes you work but it doesn't seem like work since it is all so interesting and relevant. Look forward to taking more classes with her

Norene was awesome. No tests no finals. Mostly group discussions as a class learned more than i have ever learned in any of my other classes. She's funny and sweet! just do the mini assignments on blackboard. BEST TEACHER EVER AT COD. Her red hair is awesome NO textbook needed i traveled 40 minutes each day to take her class I loved going to class
